Leaving Narnia

by Conor Burke KYT member, Conor Burke presents his first play, LEAVING NARNIA, for two nights in The Liffey Studio on 29th and 30th November 2014. James Michael O' Sullivan is about to tell his parents that he is gay. Quite frankly, he is as terrified as a turkey in November. Wondering how he ended up at this point in his life, he reflects on all of the situations he found himself in that triggered his decision to be honest with his family. Join James on his funny and often touching journey of self discovery, self acceptance and most importantly, self defence as experienced through the words of his personal diary. Playing in The Liffey Studio, Newbridge on the 29th and 30th of October

PULSE: new members welcome

PULSE is our brand new group for 14 to 17 year olds. It meets on Mondays between 7pm and 9pm in The Liffey Studio (above Johnson's Pub, 1, Main Street, Newbridge, County Kildare). We still have a number of places available for young men. We will be taking in new members until Christmas 2014. There are no more places available for young women.

The Scourge Of Desire

Our Tuesday night group, Ignition, are devising new performances for the public based on their experiences of love (in many of its guises). The performance consists of short scenes and stories linked by the theme of desire. Meet young men and women trying to express their feelings for each other and failing awkwardly. See sibling rivalry at its sharpest. Watch as friends vie for each other's attention. The Scourge of Desire is in The Liffey Studio, Newbridge, in November. Dates will be finalised soon and information posted here. Tickets are €5 and places are limted to 30. Booking by email info@crookedhouse.ie
