New Workshop Schedule for 2021-22 Season

As September rolls in, Kildare Youth Theatre is excited to announce our new workshop schedule for our 2021-2022 season.

Workshops start this week and will continue until the early summer, taking breaks at Christmas and Easter. Workshops are divided based on age and level of experience. Some workshops or programmes require an application or audition.

To join any of our workshops and projects, irregardless of whether you are a new member or not, you must first fill out a Membership Registration Form and a COVID-19 Declaration Form. To find out more on these and on our workshops in general, visit our Workshops page.

Check out the new schedule below:

OBERON:

Mondays 7:00pm-9:00pm. Starting Monday 27th. For ages 11-13, anyone can join at any time during the season. Facilitated by Vasiliki Psarra and our ESC volunteers.

TOUCHSTONE:

Tuesdays 7:00pm-9:00pm. Starting Tuesday 28th. For ages 14-16, anyone can join at any time during the season. Facilitated by Oguzhan Sahin and our ESC volunteers.

CALIBAN:

Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm. Starting Thursday 30th. For ages 17-20, experience not necessary but appreciated - anyone can join at any time during the season. Facilitated by Oguzhan Sahin, Narod Shahinian and our ESC volunteers.

ECHO ENSEMBLE:

Saturdays 4:00-6:00pm. For members aged 16+ who are interested in movement and dance. Facilitated by Oguzhan Sahin and our ESC volunteers.

DANCE AND PHYSICAL THEATRE WITH CIARÁN GRAY

Saturdays 2:30-3:30pm. Six sessions with renowned Irish choreographer Ciarán Gray. Places limited. If interested, email info@crookedhouse.ie

DRÉIMIRE - YOUNG ACTORS' SCHOOL

Saturdays 11:00am-2:00pm. A unique Crooked House Theatre Company initiative offering support to those who wish to audition for third level college. Read more on our Dréimire Project page.

YEARLY SHAKESPEARE PRODUCTION: MACBETH

Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm AND Sundays 3:30-6:30pm. Open to any member aged between 13-20. Anyone interested in being part of this production please send an email to Peter at info@crookedhouse.ie

NATIONAL THEATRE CONNECTIONS (UK) PRODUCTION:

Sundays 1:00-3:00pm. A performance of one of 10 new plays commissioned for the yearly Connections Festival, for anyone aged 12-19. If interested, email oguzhan@crookedhouse.ie
