Occasional Lockdown Pieces: 'Pande-mimic'.

Updated: Mar 21, 2021

This is the first in a series of short works produced by our volunteers during the COVID-19 lockdown, known as 'Occasional Lockdown Pieces'

In 'Pande-mimic' Turkish actor Oguzhan Sahin presents 9 character snippets he has encountered in Ireland over the last 3 months. The online was entirely created, devised and performed by Oguzhan.

Oguzhan is one of Crooked House Theatre Company's ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteers. The volunteers are here for one year helping to run Kildare Youth Theatre and to facilitate drama workshops for secondary schools. Oguzhan is also rehearsing the part of Shylock in Kildare Youth Theatre's 'The Merchant of Venice' which will be staged in the summer. More about Oguzhan can be read on our Current People page.
